The time had come to update my summer wardrobe, I was on the look out for a fresh range of bright colours, prints and easy breezy silhouettes and I was totally spoilt for choice when I recently visited the PEOPLE Store at Phoenix Market City, Kurla to review their Spring Summer 2015 Collection in association with POPxo.
PEOPLE's new collection is like a breath of fresh air this summer with an interesting variety of prints & patterns, bright colours, crop tops, skirts, culottes, dungarees, denims, tunics, kaftan dresses, maxi dresses and lots of pretty summer dresses. The clothes are very reasonably priced too, for the girl looking to refresh her summer wardrobe on a budget.
Interesting print play marks the highlight of the new collection with a mix of florals & stripes, alphabetical prints, bug prints etc.
The key collections for the Womenswear include interesting lines like - Wordplay, Meadow Lined, Nouveau Tribal, and Retro Beach.
I put together 3 interesting summer looks from their latest collection:
1. Print Play
I am a big fan of prints, so no surprise that for the first look I went for summer's eternal favorite prints- florals and stripes. I wore this blue asymmetric stripe crop top from their Meadow Lined with an interesting print play of floral & stripes. I totally loved the fresh combination of prints and also the easy breezy silhouette of the light weight crop top. I paired it with this short floral tapestry denim skirt with a floral print along the front.
This ensemble makes for a fun & super chic summer day look for lunch or shopping with the girls.
2. Easy Breezy Glamour
For the second look I choose this simple yet exotic looking ombre dyed high-low dress from their Nouveau Tribal line, with fresh earthy hues. I cinched the waist in with a thin gold plaited belt. This easy breezy look is perfect for one of those endless summer nights where you want to make a glamorous statement with an effortless chic vibe.
3. Street Style
The third look has a very sporty chic, quirky and street style vibe to it, in total contrast to the other two more feminine silhouettes above. I paired this super cool white tank top from their Word Play line with a quirky slogan with these printed culottes from their Meadow Lined collection in a mix of florals and stripes. This look has just the right dose of swag and makes a perfect alternative comfy day look.
The other two garments that caught my fancy were these short printed dungarees, that can be paired with a basic t-shirt or a crop top and this pretty printed white shift dress with a mix of florals & broken stripes, making for the perfect summer dress.

I clearly had a fabulous time putting some fun summer looks together from PEOPLE's latest Spring/Summer Collection, I must say the variety of interesting print play,easy breezy silhouettes and bright colours really caught my fancy.
